Christmas Crack | Yes, you read that correctly... :)
Many of you have asked! So, here it is! It's named this for a reason.
Seems simple and a little odd with saltines, but you won't be disappointed! :)
1 Sleeve (maybe some more to fill your sheet pan with one layer)
2 Sticks Butter
1 C. Brown Sugar
2 C. Milk Chocolate Chips
1 C. Chopped Pecans
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a medium/large size sheet pan with foil and grease the foil well.
Line the whole sheet pan with crackers.
In a medium saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat and let come to a rolling boil for 3 minutes. DO NOT STIR.
Pour the brown sugar mixture over the crackers. Bake 4 minutes.
Turn the oven off and remove from the oven and wait 1 minute.
Pour chocolate chips over the top and let sit for a minute or until chocolate is soft. Spread chocolate evenly and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
Cool on the counter slightly and then place into the fridge to cool completely.
Break into pieces and be prepared to be addicted! ;)
