Buttermilk Banana Pancakes | Baked Bacon & Homemade Maple Syrup


BAKED BACON

Line a baking sheet with foil, preheat oven to 400F

& bake bacon for about `15-20 minutes depending

on how crispy you like it! It's perfection. Not to add

no mess or babysitting it! :)

BUTTERMILK BANANA PANCAKES

Ingredients:

1 C. flour

1 T. sugar

½ t. baking soda

¼ t. salt

1 t. cinnamon

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 C. buttermilk

1 t. vanilla

3 ripe bananas, mashed

2-4 T. Butter

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients; set aside.

In a medium bowl, whisk the wet ingredients, including the bananas, until combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. The batter will be somewhat thick. Do not overmix.

Heat butter on a griddle & add batter by tablespoonfuls... Cook 2 minutes until the edges begin to puff up and are golden and you see bubbles. Flip and cook for additional 2 minutes until lightly golden.

Remove & set aside or serve immediately!

MAPLE SYRUP

1 C. Water

1 C. Sugar

Dash of Maple Extract

Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and turn down to a simmer

until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and add about a teaspoon or so of maple

extract. Stir well & serve on top of panckes! :)
